The video file is fine playing with VLC and Celluloid. (I'm sorry the avidemux_2.8.0.appImage defaultly used wrong AudioDevice) the time range is OK but there is no sound.
avidemux_2.8.0.appImage shows different fine and works fine. avidemux_2.7.6.appImage shows the same as I reported. I tested with both avidemux_2.7.6.appImage and avidemux_2.8.0.appImage, (Sorry I didn't mention that I use avidemux on linux). Open the record video file with Avidemux. Stop recording by click the Stop recording, but leave the streaming continue. (this time, Setting->General->Output->Automatically record when streaming is checked) Start streaming with Automatically record when streaming. i7-4790K, the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600, driver version 20. I reproduced this on my desktop by using OBS to record my video player playing a video. Sorry my laptop spontaneously combusted 3 days ago, so I cannot reproduce it on my i7-8565u. The new version of avidemux, aka avidemux_2.8.0.appImage, works fine now. There was a bugfix said "Fixed an issue where certain recordings could not be remuxed (typically from the QSV encoder) " but I didn't know which commit was it. In the log file: I started to stream at 15:02:49 with "Automatically record when streaming, but I click stop recording at 15:02:51, then I start to record again at 15:39:05. After a while, stop streaming/recording. After starting streaming a while, click start recording. Start streaming but do not start recording (Make sure uncheck Setting->General->Output->Automatically record when streaming).
